Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in accounting and finance, along with a strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulations
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic planning

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is preferred
