Job Description

We are a Sydney based firm with a growing clientele and we are looking to establish a back office in Nepal.

We are looking for qualified staff who are prepared to relocate to Kathmandu, Nepal.

This back office will serve as a training hub for remote staff who will handle tax returns for individual and Business Clients based in Australia. You will have regular contact and support from our Sydney based team.

Currently, we are seeking motivated and talented accountants with experience in Australian Accounting and Taxation to join us remotely from Nepal. In this role, you will play a crucial part in training and mentoring our remote team members, ensuring they deliver high-quality services to our clients in Sydney.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing training and guidance to remote staff on preparing income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, sole traders, companies and family trusts.
  • Overseeing the preparation of Business Activity Statements and state tax returns, such as payroll tax and land tax.
  • Conducting research and providing guidance to our remote team members.
  • Collaborating with clients, regulatory authorities, and other professionals to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3+ years of experience working with an Australian accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based software, including Excel, Xero, and MYOB.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively train and mentor remote staff.
