The Senior Accountant will help the company in all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting, preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and performance reports, assisting departments with annual budgets and reviews, internal external audits, and tax compliance
Accounting
- Assist with research, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Manage the relationship with Trade Goods and Service vendors
- Manage the Employee Expense Reimbursement process
- Manage the Bank Reconciliation process
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Address external and internal stakeholders queries and issues cross countries
- Ensure accurate and timely closure of accounting activities
Reporting
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and schedules.
- Working with reporting and bookkeeping software e.g. SAP B1, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Improving Controls, processes and practices
- Lead the standardization and improvement of accounting processes, policies, procedures, internal controls, and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department globally.
- Drive implementation and adoption of new-age technology accounting system and work with various stakeholders to drive SOPs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required or equivalent experience
- CPA or other finance-related certification demonstrating mastery of accounting, e.g. CMA, CA
- At least 10 years experience in managing the accounting activities of a multi entity / location setup.
- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP
