nWe are looking for a new member for our team of finance professionals who are responsible for legal entities in 19 countries across EMEA, in a rapidly growing US technology company. US GAAP month end closing, analytical reviews, external and internal reporting, journal entries, mergers and acquisitions, statutory financial statements, audit engagement and business partnering are all part of the story. nThe Team
nThe EMEA Reporting and Analysis team, as part of the larger General Ledger team, forms part of a truly global controllership organisation. We are a motivated and driven team, with a distinct international flavour, that work together towards achieving a common goal. This team currently consists of 7 people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
nResponsibilities
nThe GL Team is where it all comes together.n
You will have full ownership over a number of operational entities and will be responsible for obtaining a clear understanding of all company activities and ledgers
nYou will work on a regular basis with different finance teams like Revenue, Fixed Assets, Lease, AP/AR, FP&A and Global Accounting Operations teams
nYou will have to prioritize your own workload and work with the team to deliver against ambitious deadlines
nYou will do a lot of analysis and provide different internal and external reporting
nQualifications
nDo you have excellent analytical skills, an open and proactive personality, are you hands-on & creative, with a good eye for detail and would you like to make an impact
nExtensive operational accounting experience (3+ years preferred)
nAccounting Degree or similar professional qualification
nExperience with US GAAP closing process
nExcellent analytical skills
nExtensive knowledge of Exceln
Experience in external reporting incl. statutory financial statements
nExperience working in a Multi-National Corporation a plus
nOracle Cloud knowledge would be a plus
nEnglish required, + one or more European languages preferred
