Responsible for managing and overseeing accounting, payroll and compliances of the business, contribute to strategic financial insights and operational expertise to help the organization in sustainability, ensuring optimal financial performance while upholding the brand's commitment to excellence. Diligently manage and supervise all factory and company compliances and organization payroll.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and financial planning:
o Develop and implement accounting strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
o Provide accounting insights and reports to the Founder for informed decision-making.
o Prepare budgets, forecasts, and plans to guide accounting operations in consultation with CA and Founder
Reporting and Analysis:
o Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, tax filings and analysis.
o Identify key challenges, risks, and opportunities to drive financial improvement.
Operations:
o Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
o Implement effective controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
o Ensure timely and accurate filings- GST and TDS and support audit functions.
Cash Flow Management:
o Monitor cash flow and liquidity, anticipating potential shortfalls or excesses. Develop cash flow projections and manage working capital to support business operations.
Stakeholder Communication:
o Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Founder.
o Collaborate and manage with cross-functional teams, vendors, job workers, partners, MBO's etc for all accounting related matters.
o Drafting and reporting company specific papers and providing daily administrative support.
People Management:
o Ensure implementation of HR- Accounting related SOPs for payroll and leave management.
o Tracking activities, targets, tasks and KRA's of the team on a daily and quarterly basis.
o Manage the reporting team members for quality output and timely completion of tasks.
Compliance:
o Oversee and manage all compliance related filing with CS, CA, Law firm and any other factory related filings.
o Maintain tracking sheets for all the compliances.
Export Management:
o Make invoices in the appropriate curency.
o Maintain all export documents for it to be cleared by bank and DGFT.
