Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Factor Human Resources Pvt. Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. You will also play a key role in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. This is a full-time position based in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and cash flow
- Review and approve financial transactions and payments
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors and financial institutions
