Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with 4-6 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards
• Preparing and filing tax returns, including GST and TDS
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
• Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff
• Costing and Analysis is an added advantage

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including Indian GAAP
• Experience with accounting software, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Xero
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
