What you'll do

• Conception and design of SAP AI-powered architectures for Finance Localization topics for the scrum team.
• Leverage your expertise in S4 architecture and delivery cycles as well as cutting-edge technologies and trends to make critical design decisions for scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions.
• Drive innovation and learning in the team and across teams in Globalization while adhering to Clean Core and central SAP architecture guidelines.
• Ensure long-term stability and adaptability of solutions built by your team > Imbibe a culture of automation in the solutions built by your team(s).
• Be a champion for problem-solving: Approach challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, always seeking the most efficient and effective approach.
• Collaborate with cross-board and cross-functional teams.
• Embrace a growth mindset and being open to learning new technologies and software development practices as they emerge, with a focus on generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, and relevant tools.
• Verify that the delivered product meets the functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery.
• Support clients through the user acceptance, parallel testing and go-live phases.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 12 years of professional experience in software development.
• Solid experience of building solutions within S4HANA guidelines and frameworks.
• Extensive experience in S4 solution building with hands-on knowledge of ABAP OO, CDS, OData.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP solutions for ABAP.
• Good understanding of Fiori and RAP development.
• Expertise in SAP S4HANA release cycles (on-prem and cloud), feature toggles.
• Functional knowledge in Finance and/or Taxes.
• Understanding of GenAI and its architectural integration with S4.
• Very strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Customer handling experience and quality focus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 49400 - 74100(EUR) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
