Trana is on the lookout for a passionate Security Researcher Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship where you'll get hands-on experience in the world of cybersecurity, working on real projects that make a difference.
What You'll Do:
- Help develop top-notch security solutions.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for our awesome clients.
- This would include: Web App, Network, Cloud, Android & iOS pentesting.
- Conduct research on current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security solutions and strategies.
- Analyze security incidents and propose mitigation techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on research findings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity.
What You Need:
- In-depth understanding of application security risks and how to test them.
- Confidence with OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 vulnerabilities.
- Good knowledge of Python or any other programming language for automating mundane stuff.
- Should have successfully performed Pen-testing Projects.
- Experience with solutions like Burp Suite,Acunetix, SQLMap, Nmap, etc.
- Ability to support clients with remediation advice and best practice recommendations.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends in application security testing.
- Research into the latest and emerging security threats and tooling.
- Bonus points for bug bounty findings.
