Description
We are looking for a Security Guard to safeguard our premises and assets. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience in the security industry and possess the necessary hard skills and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security
- Respond to alarms and calls of distress to protect property from theft or damage
- Create reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform duties effectively
Skills and Qualifications
- 0-5 years of experience as a security guard or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license from the appropriate government authority
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to operate security equipment, including CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and X-ray machines
