As a Security Engineer, you will handle the digital security for EduFund. Build digital security protocols, operating a cyber security system and maintaining an IT security infrastructure.
- Digital Security Management: Build, operate, and maintain a robust digital security infrastructure in line with the company's strategy and compliance requirements.
- ISO 27001 Compliance: Lead the initiative to achieve and maintain ISO 27001 certification by identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and coordinating with relevant departments to implement them.
- DevSecOps Integration: Develop and integrate security measures into the DevOps pipeline to ensure the secure deployment of applications.
- Performance Tracking: Develop and execute security metrics and KPIs to continuously monitor the effectiveness of security measures.
- Incident Management: Install and manage software that monitors systems and networks for security incidents, and lead the incident response process.
- Employee Training: Educate and train staff on information system security best practices and ISO 27001 compliance.
- Security Architecture: Design and engineer a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture to protect against various threats and vulnerabilities.
- Consultation and Advising: Provide technical advice and consultation on security matters to the management and other departments.
Specific Criteria Required For The Applicant
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a System Security Engineer or a related position, with a focus on digital security and compliance.
- Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO 27001 is a must.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of operating systems, database security, and networking technologies.
- DevSecOps Experience: Proficiency in integrating security into DevOps pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to solve complex problems, and strong communication skills.
- Security Tools: In-depth knowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection and notification systems.
