Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students according to the ICSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding student progress and concerns.
- Qualifications:
- Master's degree in English (MA) or Commerce (MCom) with B.Ed, or currently pursuing B.Ed.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Proficiency in English language and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sound knowledge of the ICSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in an ICSE-affiliated school.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools and platforms.
- Experience in integrating educational technology into the curriculum.
- Additional certifications or qualifications related to English language teaching.
