The SEO Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple SEO projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and project management principles. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives, develop and implement effective SEO plans, and continuously monitor and optimize project performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SEO projects from initial concept through final implementation, ensuring all deadlines and goals are met
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each client's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement SEO best practices and recommendations
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs. Provide regular reports and insights to clients and management
- Optimize website content, structure, and meta tags to improve search engine rankings and user experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding SEO projects, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns
- Mentor a team of SEO specialists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- 8+ years of proven experience in SEO with a strong track record of improving search visibility.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Proven experience as an SEO Project Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, algorithms, and ranking factors
- Prior experience working in a Digital marketing agency
- Sound experience in managing multiple projects in the agency/client relationship model
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
