Responsibilities & Duties:
- Development and testing of key platform features for a startup focusing on the marketing technology space.
- Work with a team of engineers and deliver features and functions as outlined by your engineering manager.
- Develop using test driven development for all your work.
- Focus on good design and justify your designs.
- Be a steward for security and privacy.
- Improve engineering processes and standards within the team
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
- You have 3+ years work experience as part of a core engineering team at a product company
- Experience with processing, storing and analyzing very large amounts of data
- Deep understanding and experience working with Java (8 or above) or C#.
- Good problem solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Supporting Skills:
- Container based development with tools such as Docker
- Experience working with data streaming applications built with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink etc
- Experience working with Kubernetes
