About The Role & Team
The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the Scrum Team and as this is an Individual Contributor role the Scrum Master leads from a position of influence. The Scrum Master helps the team to understand Scrum theory and values. They act as the conscience on the Scrum team ensuring team members live agile values and principles and follow agreed Scrum processes practices and behaviors. Scrum masters are committed to the Scrum foundation and values but remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their velocity.
What You'll Do
- Contributing Analysing, executing, and streamlining DevOps, Monitoring and Telemetry Landscape
- Automating processes with the right tools
- Designing a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
- Architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices
- Guiding developers and operation teams in case of an issue
- Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations
- Dev-ops tech strategy outlining technical direction with input from portfolio architects & tech leads in the product teams working in alignment with ICE and IS.
- Collaboration and support for the portfolio architects & tech leads to share and help with best practice, guidelines and reference architecture to save re-inventing wheel
- Involvement in vendor management and negotiation to ensure licencing and commercial agreements meet with the portfolio usage of tools and platforms.
- Collaboration with portfolio architects & tech leads to identify gaps in best practice, tools, guidelines and services etc and to take manage the creation of new services through collaboration with other teams or with portfolio
- Input into of relevant domain level technical documentation and automation of domain capability where appropriate.
- Write Enabler epics and features
- Custodian of architecture documents
- Lead the design process and represent the team in the technology governance
- Ensure adherence with domain strategies e.g. adoption of new technologies or migration off legacy
- Conduct / lead Architecture assessments
- Continuously review the stability & performance of the Product and make recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- A bachelors or master's Degree in IT/Computer Science
- Scrum Alliance CSM certification (or equivalent)
- Possess a rudimentary understanding of Scaled Agile Framework
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 3 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles practices and theory.
- 5+ years of overall experience of working in a Software Development organization (Aviation industry preferred)
- 2+ years of Experience in applying Agile Manifesto in the process of software development & delivery. Knowledge of various IT tools and techniques for IT project planning and organizing
- 3+ Years of Experience in practicing Scrum Methodology in the process of software development & delivery
- Knowledge of collaborating techniques to promote a culture of working together to meet business goals
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management Tactics
- Knowledge of best practices of group facilitation to elicit contributions from others to achieve a desired outcome
