We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with over 12 years of management experience to join our team and lead our data projects to success. Good to have sufficient certifications and someone who is strong with Jira, Confluence.
Role Overview: The Senior Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in guiding our agile teams through the development lifecycle of data projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scrum methodology, a robust background in managing complex data projects, and proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams on agile best practices and processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define project requirements and prioritize the product backlog.
- Remove impediments and address issues to ensure teams can deliver high-quality products on time.
- Track and report on team performance metrics and project progress.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile maturity within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12+ years of management experience with a focus on Scrum and agile methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering complex data projects.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional agile frameworks such as Kanban or Lean.
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
