- Proven ability to lead Scrum teams for complex deliveries.
- Facilitation of all the team's meetings and ceremonies depending on the framework used. Excellent communication, collaboration and a self-starter.
- Removes roadblocks, many of which will be beyond the team's authority or will require support from other teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset and highlights opportunities to improve efficiency of scrum teams.
- Ability to coaches and mentor the team on agile ways of working.
- Management of dependencies internal and external to scrum team.
- Experience with calculating team capacity, analyzing and adjusting learnings from previous sprints.
- Extensive understanding of agile methodology, techniques, frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) and agile tools (such as Jira and Confluence). Communicative and social-excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and personality types.
- Assertive - must be able to ensure agile and scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, and not afraid to be a voice of reason and authority.
- Willing and able to hold the team accountable to its vision and values.
- Situational awareness- must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and escalate them to team and to management, when appropriate.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate on issues of strategy, risk and process Certified Scrum Master preferred.
