Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Allies Business Hub. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software projects. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile development role
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with product management and product backlog prioritization
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of software development processes and best practices
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are a plus
- Experience with product marketing and customer-focused product development is highly desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Agile development process and ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices
- Serve as a coach and mentor to the development team, ensuring continuous improvement in Agile execution
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure timely delivery of features
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify and remove any obstacles or impediments that may impact the team's ability to deliver
- Track and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Promote a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
