Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of a diverse student population
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Provide leadership and direction to school staff, including teachers, support staff, and administrators
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and fosters respect and cooperation among students, staff, and families
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure as required by the province
- Minimum of 2-11 years of experience in teaching, counseling, or school administration in the Indian job market context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
