The ideal candidate should have a solid background in teaching at the higher secondary level with significant leadership experience. As the Principal, you will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring academic excellence, and promoting the holistic development of students.
Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the school, ensuring high standards of educational excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning outcomes.
Curriculum Development: Oversee the development and implementation of a balanced curriculum that meets the educational standards and requirements of CBSE/ISC/ICSE boards.
Staff Management: Recruit, develop, motivate, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain a high-performing team committed to the school's mission.
Student Welfare: Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes students academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Parent and Community Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and the community to ensure their involvement and support in the school's programs and activities.
Administrative Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including budgeting, facilities management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Professional Development: Encourage and support ongoing professional development for staff to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
Promotion of School Values: Uphold and promote the school's values, ethos, and traditions among students, staff, and the wider community.
Requirements:
Education: Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline. B.Ed. qualification is compulsory.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of teaching experience in a higher secondary school, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Certification: Qualified to work as a Principal under CBSE/ISC/ICSE guidelines.
Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team. Proficiency in English and local language (desired).
