The School Admin and Facilities Executive at our IB School plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the schools administrative and facilities functions. This position is essential in maintaining a safe, functional, and organized environment for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks and operations
- Manage and coordinate school events, meetings, and appointments
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of school facilities
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and improvements
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement administrative and facility management policies
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of school staff
- Handle budgeting and financial management for facilities and operations
- Coordinate transportation logistics for students and events
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues from students, parents, and staff
- Manage inventory and procurement of school supplies and equipment
- Utilize technology to streamline administrative processes
- Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment
- Provide administrative support to school leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field
- Prior experience in school administration or facilities management
- Knowledge of IB curriculum and educational regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
