Job Summary:Provides administrative support to Human Resources, Gaming staff as well as external customers, The Scheduler position is responsible for preparing schedules for a range of departments. The Scheduler works with the department to ensure that the schedule meets their needs while balancing it with labour minimums and guidelines. This role works to find ways to improve on the schedules and incorporate preferences and requirements into the best balanced schedule.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems.
- Works with human resources and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assists in keeping these schedules current.
- Create daily productivity reports that departments use to gauge their daily and weekly efficiency as well allow them to make adjustments to their daily staffing.
- Schedulers may participate or ask to conduct labour observation to determine better and more efficient ways to improve on schedules and labour. They are responsible for optimizing staffing.
- Schedulers may provide recommendations on staffing levels and budgets.
- Develops, Maintains or modifies schedules and or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall master program schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining the schedule project build, staging, testing, deployment and integration processes and procedures; such as creating project build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the schedule build process
- Develops schedule version control processes, policies and procedures and ensures that they are followed on development or operational implementation projects
- Assists in maintaining and developing the environment for the overall master program/project schedule and/or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall master program schedule
- Assists in defining and implementing schedule software (HRMS, or specific program mandated software, etc.) management processes and procedures
- Answer routine inquiries from internal and external customers on available positions.
- Perform clerical functions such as answering the telephone, data entry, filing documents, responding to emails and sending faxes.
- Assist hr management staff with special projects.
- Schedule meetings as requested.
- Maintains highest level of confidentiality regarding all hr matters or gaming matter that incumbent is exposed to during the course of business.
- Prepare and/or issue accurate and complete departmental records and reports utilizing a variety of office equipment.
- Assist applicants and team members when needed, using the computers in the cafeteria by doing such tasks as guiding them through the application process or accessing HRMS information.
- Assist with the accurate entering/verification of payroll or staff data.
- Generate job posting and ensures adequate distribution within recommended timeframe.
- Assist HR staff with reviewing candidate applications for minimum qualifications.
- Assist H.R. staff with generating/distributing the referral list of qualified candidates to the hiring managers.
- Responsible for the timely submission of TDS and other documents required.
- Assist visitors to general manager, answers questions and direct to others as necessary.
- Cooperate with co-workers to maintain a friendly environment and working interaction within the office.
- Operate office machines and ensure they are maintained by arranging for service when needed.
- Prepares outgoing mail; files correspondence, reports and departmental records in appropriate files.
- Receives incoming telephone communications in a cordial and helpful manner, taking accurate messages and directing them to proper staff as necessary.
- Assist with inventory of office equipment and supplies, as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Provides customer feedback and suggestions to individual departments as well as to the customer service department on a regular basis.
- Is responsible for employee contact and interfacing with employees; letter, person and by telephone.
- Conveys policies and procedures related to department and centralized scheduling practices works with all departments to assist in completing administrative tasks
