Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Scala and related technologies.
- Develop RESTful APIs to support various frontend and backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and responsive applications.
- Optimize application performance by utilizing Scala Futures and other asynchronous programming techniques.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews for team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Scala development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scala Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Scala programming language.
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Scala Futures and asynchronous programming models.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
