scala Developer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain business application software for the Bank.
Conduct impact analysis of business/functional requirements on application system.
Code and verify program operations by confirming tests.
Ensure compliance with system development standards and methodology throughout entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Prepare and update application software related documentation.

Requirements:
A recognised Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
Minimum 3 years of experience in application development using Scala and Python, as well as Hadoop (Database).
Possesses knowledge in Machine Learning Algorithms - regression, classification, clustering, etc
Self-motivated and a team player.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Industry knowledge/experience in banking or financial services would be an advantage.
