Roles and Responsibilities

The SCE shall prepare the documents for project meetings such as client KOM and specification clarification meetings.

The SCE shall prepare system functional specs, plant graphic specs, logging reports specs, Network specs, for customer approval.

The SCE shall draft, organize, and compile all documents submitted to the client, pertaining to his scope of the project.

The SCE shall perform all SCADA system configuration and SCADA application software generation activities pertaining to his scope of the project.

The SCE shall carry out all testing and maintaining test records on the system. These may include internal test, FAT and SAT. He shall organize and compile all test records to meet application software QC related activities based on approved Project FAT procedure.

The SCE shall assist the LSCE in the procurement activities of software inclusive of buyouts.

The SCE shall prepare the quality assurance documents

. The SCE shall compile as-built documents.

The SCE may be assigned to carry out site installation, startup, and commissioning assistance activities at the job site based on contracted site scope of work, His role would normally pertain to modifications of SCADA application system engineering.
