Job Description:
- Erection and Commissioning of Substation Automation Systems.
- O& M for commissioned substations involving RTU database, end-to-end troubleshooting till SCADA system, wiring terminations at IEDs, DI & DO cards of RTU.
- Good acquisitive skills for other supporting activities in substation viz. OFC communication, CCTV system, and IP-Phone system.
- SLA compliance with assigned activities
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team and making sure performance levels are maintained.
- Effective work planning of all ongoing and future projects.
- Interaction with sites & provide all the possible technical support to them, including installations, commissioning, and servicing.
- Complete solar power plant - Installation & Commissioning of PLC/Scada based String monitoring/Combiner boxes & Weather sensors.
- Design, development, optimized engineering, Modification, and troubleshooting for PLC & SCADA solar-based Applications.
- Protocols Worked on: IEC-101, IEC-104, Modbus-TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet/IP, SNMP, FTP,IEC-61850.
- I/O List preparation, Maintaining web client.
- Familiar with software such as FileZilla, IIS Manager, UA expert, Matrikon, OPC data logger.
- Configuring and communication of devices (PLC, SCADA, Remote IOs, Ethernet switches, Security Router, Protocol converter, media converter. Wireless devices, Energy Meters, Temperature Controllers, and Sensors, etc.) on networks like Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Interbus, Virtual Private Network.
Qualification:
- Candidate should be an Electrical Engineer
- 2-3 years experience in Substation Automation systems in various fields like Distribution,
- transmission System.
- Knowledge of Substation RTU, PAS, Numerical Relays, Multifunction Meters, Battery
- Chargers, Transformer Protection and Monitoring.
- Troubleshooting of Communication Network including L2/L3 switches.
- Preferably from a Power Distribution company, System Integrator, or OEM in Substation
- Automation.
- Working knowledge of SCADA system involving point-to-point integration and testing.
