Your tasks
- Build, Manage and Schedule SAP Background job queues as part of the central background processing team which runs over 300k Jobs a day.
- Verify and recover unsuccessful SAP background jobs found in our daily quality assurance process.
- Escalate background job failures to other departments.
- Organize, Run and Control SAP archiving jobs.
- Design automation in the job scheduler for SAP and SAP Archiving jobs based on the needs of the application owner.
- Enhance, Maintain and Support the existing job scheduling infrastructure for the entire Brose Group
- Work as part of an international IT team located in Pune, Ostrava, and Bamberg
- A high level of customer understanding and communication skills, coupled with a high level of quality awareness, is required to improve customer satisfaction for the production platform service.
Your Profile
- SAP Know how to check and handle background jobs.
- More SAP Basic Know How is helpful but not a must.
- (First) Experience with a workload automation tool like Automic Automation (UC4), BMC Control-M, AutomateNow or similar.
- Willing to learn the workload automation software used at Brose (Arvato Streamworks) for workflow creation and administration.
- Practical experience with Linux and Windows.
- Willing to keep constantly learning and improving.
- Good English and presentation skills.
- Analysis skills.
- Very good communication skills.
- Team oriented.
