Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP VIM Consultant to join our team in Italy. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) by OpenText, ensuring streamlined invoice processing, automation, and integration with SAP systems. You will work closely with finance, procurement, and technical teams to optimize the invoice lifecycle and enhance the overall efficiency of accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP VIM by OpenText.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

Integrate VIM with SAP FI, MM, and other relevant SAP modules.

Troubleshoot and resolve VIM-related issues and provide ongoing support to users.

Configure workflows for invoice processing, approvals, and exceptions management.

Conduct testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and ensure the solution meets functional and technical requirements.

Provide training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.

Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Monitor and optimize VIM system performance to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP VIM by OpenText, including hands-on implementation and support experience.

Strong knowledge of SAP FI (Accounts Payable) and integration with MM (Materials Management).

Expertise in configuring workflows, document processing, and exception handling within SAP VIM.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.

Flexibility to travel within Italy as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP VIM certification or equivalent experience.

Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or finance.

Knowledge of OpenText Archive Center and Document Access is a plus.

Experience in Agile or other project management methodologies.
