Purpose Of Job. EDM Specialist will be responsible for providing support for EDM objects and tooling and understand how their Master data is consumed. They need to manage / support projects consuming Customer and Vendor Master Data, and requirements driving changes in the EDM space. They should understand the processes used by operations / the business to maintain EDM objects within their respective systems
Brief Profile. Provide consultancy in areas such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Document and Content Management, Master Data Management
Strong understanding and appreciation of Master Data Objects (Business partners, materials , Bank , International Taxes ) across all functions
Understands impact of data updates and the impact to other systems within our company
Supports the business with best practices and advice on master data initiatives
Validates data and supports initiatives for cleansing and consistency between different ERP systems in terms of timeliness, accuracy and completeness. Assists the finance team with maintaining cost data and parameters
Proven experience in leading complex problem situations. Ability to arbitrate objectively and in line with Organizations standards and codes. Ability to engage Global Functions, Product Owners, EDM executives and Business communities
Understand the need for data quality and takes initiatives for new quality reports from other technical teams
Regular reporting, analysis and KPI tracking in support of EDM. Act as a analyst for any master data related questions and coordinate within IT and Business for the various system implementations. Implement process controls & improvements for prevention of data quality issues and integrity across key systems. Qualifications. Knowledge/Skill/Ability:. Has a higher education or comparable experience with Master Data (Quality) Management, preferably in an ERP environment
Hands on experience in SAP ECC/CRM, Salesforce platforms
Understanding of Enterprise Data Management and Data Governance as it relates to operations, accounting, master data hierarchies, attribute definitions, etc
Experience in:. Managing cross-functional requirements and engagement. Solution Design, Delivery and Project Management. Strong technical expertise and solution delivery experience on EDM and BI Tools (SAP, BW / BI, Salesforce, BODS)
Enterprise data management and Data Quality exposure to set up enterprise wise Data management framework and delivery solutions to keep master data clean and updated and have clear policies and governance for master data management
Flexible to learn new tools and technologies in short period of time and implement the same to solve real-time business problems
Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical abilities. Highly proficient Personal Computer skills and technology driven, proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Education And Experience.
