Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Specialist with a strong background in SAP SuccessFactors to manage and optimize our payroll processes, compensation plans, and benefits programs. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, driving compensation strategies, and managing benefit schemes, all while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in both SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll systems to streamline HR operations and enhance employee satisfaction.
Reporting: General Manager, Global Payroll
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Manage and process payroll for all employees using SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with the finance department for payroll processing, salary disbursement, and tax compliance.
- Handle payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage payroll-related issues, inquiries, and discrepancies and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update payroll data in SAP/ SuccessFactors, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.).
- Candidate would be responsible for managing Global payroll, predominantly Africa.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Utilize SuccessFactors Compensation module to manage and optimize compensation planning and budgeting.
- Design and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with company objectives and attract and retain talent.
- Conduct salary compensation structures.
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks).
- Liaise with external vendors for benefit administration and ensure that all benefits are delivered to employees efficiently.
HRIS & System Management:
- Payroll process knowledge in SAP S4 HANA and having some background of international payroll special West Africa.
- Maintain the HR database using SAP S4 HANA & SuccessFactors and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
- Oversee the integration between SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll, ensuring a seamless flow of data between systems.
- Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports using SuccessFactors to provide insights and trends for leadership decision-making.
- Work closely with the IT team and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues related to SAP and SuccessFactors.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and tax regulations in payroll and compensation practices.
- Prepare and submit mandatory reports related to payroll, compensation, and benefits for government and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws and compensation trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Expertise in SAP S4 HANA and SAP SuccessFactors (especially Payroll and Compensation modules) is mandatory.
- Proficient in SAP Payroll systems and knowledgeable in HRIS systems (preferably with SAP and SuccessFactors integration).
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits structures, payroll processing, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in HR/Payroll.
- Experience in global payroll management or experience working in multinational organizations.
- Familiarity with compensation frameworks in different industries.
