SAP SD Consultant

As a SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, andsupporting SAP Sales and Distribution solutions to meet the business needs of our clients.You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements andtranslate them into functional specifications. This role requires a deep understanding ofsales processes, distribution, pricing, and integration with other SAP modules.

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Configuration:

Configure SAP SD modules based on business requirements, including pricing procedures, delivery processes, and sales document types.

Customize SAP SD functionalities to align with client-specific business processes.

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets quality standards.

Business Process Analysis:

Analyze business processes related to sales, pricing, and distribution to identify areas

for improvement and optimization.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose SAP SD solutions that address their needs.

Provide expert advice on best practices and recommend solutions to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.

Integration and Support:

Coordinate with other SAP modules (such as MM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration with SAP SD.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD issues, resolving incidents and implementing enhancements as needed.

Conduct end-user training and create documentation to support system users.

Project Management:

Participate in project planning, scoping, and estimation activities.

Manage deliverables, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project implementation.

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience working as a SAP SD Consultant, with hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation projects.

Proficiency in SAP SD configuration, including pricing procedures, sales order processing, and delivery management.

Strong understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of SAP Activate methodology preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

SAP SD certification is a plus.

The SAP SD Consultant may be required to work non-standard hours to accommodate project timelines or support activities
