Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Delivery Manager to join our team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of delivery management experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale projects. This is an immediate hire position.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage SAP project delivery, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants and delivery staff.
- Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and are performing at their best.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Identify resource needs and coordinate with internal departments to fulfill them.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and control project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain best practices in SAP delivery and project management.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and any issues to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, team members, and senior management.
Budget Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.
- Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivery management, with a focus on SAP projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and implementations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SAP projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other latest SAP technologies.
