Key Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for effectively planning, monitoring, coordinating and communicating all aspects of the project to ensure timely delivery of the project, within budget and achieving the desired outcomes (aligned with the objective)
Coordinating the overall implementation of projects and day-to-day management
Coordinate and manage a team of internal and external SAP S4 HANA implementation experts.
Provide strategic direction, coordinate, and supervise all activities of the project plan.
Responsible for the management and coordination of the project management team with internal stakeholders
Coordinate and supervise the activities of Implementing Consultants/Technical Services Providers to ensure effective delivery of projects.
Lead internal experts to drive project activities.
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
Oversee project management, procurement management, mitigate delays in project implementation and ensure timely completion of projects.
Act as point of contact and communicate project status with management.
Analyze the risks and opportunities pertaining to project work.
Key Success Measures
Phase 1
To prepare the detailed RFP for S4 Hana implementation project covering all the aspects as stated below.
To coordinate with various stakeholders, departments and obtain their sign off on expectations from S4 Hana system post implementation.
To assist the client's core team in creating a business case for migration or reimplementation from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA based on the client's Global business understanding depth.
To define the implementation partner selection criteria
To evaluate & select vendor based on commercials, functional & technical requirements, vendor capability, global exposure, project resources deployment etc.
Assist the core team in: Floating RFP to the prospective vendors & Evaluating the RFP response & selecting right implementation partner
Phase 2
Defining SOW & MSA document
Running the entire implementation program till the completion of the project and doing program management role.
Successfully transition into BAU Post implementation, evaluate project against business case/project KPIs.
To facilitate coordination with regional teams on behalf of the client for various requirements gathering, scope finalization etc. Execution, Monitoring and Controlling the results
To assure that the project is executed according to what is agreed in the project charter, scope statement and project management plan.
To capture and manage project issues, risks and changes related to the project scope, timelines, costs etc.
To discuss with stakeholders on the implementation and take concurrence as per business requirements.
Highlight any deviation to the management team for taking corrective actions in case tasks are not completed as per agreed timelines.
Closure and Sign-off
To ensure that all the required deliverables from each phase of the project are complete and accurate and
Execute sign off for each activity from regional and central teams as per the project plan.
To execute any other task as mutually agreed between various teams from time to time.
Skills required
Hands on experience on the entire project life cycle for SAP S4 HANA in terms of Scope assessment, , Risk Management, SLA Management, Quality Framework, Business/Operation Excellence
Proven Track record: projects on-time, within budget and meeting objectives
Experienced in running Project Meetings (Kickoff, Status Meetings (Internal/Client)
Highly effective in leading teams and driven for performance. Leader and Team player
Client and Executive Facing, Account Servicing and managing SLAs
Strong written and verbal communication skills to all Stakeholders on a timely basis
Detail oriented and analytical, experienced in requirements gathering
