Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of SAP projects across various modules. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, execution, and overseeing technical and functional team members to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP ERP solutions, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead SAP projects from initiation to closure, managing scope, timeline, and resources.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure project goals align with business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and project teams.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure client satisfaction through project lifecycle and address concerns proactively.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and manage any project issues effectively.
- Implement risk management plans and escalate critical issues to leadership as necessary.
- Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and end-users.
- Allocate resources and manage workloads to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation:
- Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Oversee project documentation, including project charters, functional/technical specifications, and testing scripts.
- Manage project handover and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing SAP projects.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, etc.).
- Experience in managing full-cycle SAP implementation projects is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration points.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
