Overview
The SAP PP/QM Consultant plays a crucial role in the organization by implementing and supporting SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules to streamline production processes and maintain high-quality standards. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing solutions, configuring SAP systems, and providing ongoing support and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for SAP PP and QM modules.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP PP and QM solutions to meet business needs.
- Support the implementation and integration of SAP PP and QM modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Provide guidance and expertise on best practices for SAP PP and QM processes.
- Perform system testing, create test scripts, and provide end-user training and support.
- Identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot system errors, and optimize SAP PP and QM performance.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize production and quality processes.
- Stay updated on SAP PP and QM module enhancements and industry trends.
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP PP/QM Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP and QM modules, including configuration and customization.
- Experience in implementing and supporting SAP PP and QM solutions in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in SAP PP master data, MRP, production execution, shop floor control, and capacity planning.
- Expertise in SAP QM master data, quality planning, inspection, and quality certifications.
- Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in SAP PP and QM modules is a plus.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules.
