Overview
The SAP PP/QM Consultant plays a crucial role in the organization by managing the implementation and support of SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules. This role is essential for ensuring seamless integration and management of manufacturing processes and quality control within the SAP environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize SAP PP and QM modules to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for manufacturing processes and quality management.
- Lead SAP PP and QM module implementation projects, including system design, testing, and training.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP and QM modules, addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Optimize and streamline production planning processes within SAP.
- Develop and implement quality management processes and procedures in alignment with business goals.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Train end users on SAP PP and QM functionality and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PP/QM with other business systems.
- Stay current with SAP updates and industry best practices for PP and QM modules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP PP and QM modules in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in SAP PP and QM configuration and customization.
- Ability to lead SAP PP/QM implementation projects from start to finish.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in SAP PP/QM modules is preferred.
- Experience in business process integration and cross-functional collaboration.
