Overview
The SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes within an organization. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, combined with expertise in SAP PP modules. The primary objective is to enhance operational efficiency, reduce production costs, and ensure smooth integration of manufacturing data with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Should be able to convert the business requirement into Functional Specification documents
- Convert and explain key business requirements to technical specification documents for development.
- Configure the SAP System within the PP module as per the requirements specified.
- Convert and create an impact analysis document.
- Understand integration requirements with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
- Analyze, Research, Troubleshoot, and help resolve defects arising out of the process
- Able to do regression testing and System integration testing
Technology Skills
- Should have deep knowledge of SAP PP Module and business domain knowledge
- Experience in SAP PP Module OR integration knowledge with other SAP Module is essential
- SAP Certification in SAP PP is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in SAP QM/PM is desirable
Essential Qualifications
- 5-10 Yrs. Experience in SAP implementation projects in SAP PP
- Good communication, verbal, and written skills
