Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP Materials Management professional to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As a member of our IT Solutions Organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the materials and inventory processes within our SAP environment. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The position is a contract role.
Qualifications And Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) module.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, and stock transfer orders/consignments.
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana, preferably S4 hana version 2020.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Certifications in SAP MM or related areas are a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize SAP Materials Management processes, including procurement, inventory management, and stock transfer orders/consignments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and timely execution of orders.
- Handle master data maintenance for materials, vendors, and purchasing info records.
- Monitor and analyze material consumption patterns, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement process improvements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their material requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Materials Management modules.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the SAP system.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP MM trends, technologies, and best practices.
