Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Senior SAP Fiori UI5 Developer to join our dynamic team on our Permanent rolls. Can work remotely.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing user interfaces using the SAP Fiori framework and UI5 libraries. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and modern web technologies, with a strong focus on creating intuitive and efficient user experiences within SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Fiori/UI5 Application Development:
- Develop responsive and efficient user interfaces using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5 technologies.
- Customize and extend standard SAP Fiori applications to meet business requirements.
- Implement and integrate OData services in collaboration with SAP backend teams.
- Design and Prototyping:
- Create high-quality design prototypes and wireframes for SAP Fiori applications.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver visually appealing and user-friendly SAP Fiori apps.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
- Optimize the performance of SAP Fiori applications for a seamless user experience.
- Troubleshoot issues in SAP Fiori/UI5 apps, identify root causes, and implement solutions promptly.
- Collaboration & Integration:
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Work closely with SAP ABAP, SAP Gateway, and SAP HANA teams to ensure smooth integration of UI5 applications with backend systems.
- Documentation & Best Practices:
- Document technical designs, development standards, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in Fiori development, UI/UX standards, and SAP guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services (OData).
- Experience with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, or other relevant development environments.
- Experience in developing custom SAP Fiori apps and extending standard Fiori apps.
- Familiarity with backend SAP technologies such as SAP ABAP and SAP Gateway.
- Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration and security.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Hands-on experience in delivering SAP Fiori solutions for real-time SAP projects.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP Fiori Elements and Smart Templates.
- Understanding of UI5 Framework updates and recent advancements.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
