Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant Implementation in S/4HANA

Position: SAP FICO Consultant

Experience: 7-9 Years

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementation projects in SAP S/4HANA for the FICO module (Public/Private/On-Prem).
  • Configure and customize SAP FICO modules based on business requirements.
  • Participate in blueprint preparation and handle challenges during the design and implementation phases.
  • Conduct workshops and actively contribute to design discussions with stakeholders.
  1. Functional Expertise:
  • Analyze, design, and optimize financial and controlling processes.
  • Provide solutions for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis).
  • Handle sub-modules such as Tax Accounting/GST, Bank Accounting, and EBS & DME.
  1. Integration & Customization:
  • Work on third-party system integrations and demonstrate expertise in interfaces.
  • Develop and manage custom reports, create Functional Specifications (FS), and coordinate ABAP developments.
  1. Data Migration & Cutover Activities:
  • Oversee data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage cutover activities and ensure smooth go-live transitions.
  1. Client Interaction:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on SAP best practices and identify process improvement opportunities.
  1. Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to SAP FICO.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring issues.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for ABAP developments, enhancements, and reports.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead project teams, manage timelines, and ensure project delivery within scope and budget.
  • Experience in managing onshore-offshore models and working with global teams.
  1. Advanced Expertise:
  • Experience in Group Reporting, Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), and handling Agile methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience in SAP FICO, including at least 1 full lifecycle implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring SAP FICO modules and integrating them with other SAP modules.
  • Hands-on experience in credit management, collection management, and dispute management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools and processes for EBS & DME, Group Reporting, and RAR.
  • Experience in working with global teams and managing onshore-offshore models.
