Minimum 12 years of experience with more than 8 years in SAP FI
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hands on SAP process knowledge. Configuration & process knowledge of FI module of SAP.
- Few end-to-end implementations of SAP
- Sound knowledge of business process & best practices around material handling, purchase /procurement, warehouse, fleet & route management, local commercial processes and taxation
- Knowledge of SDLC, ISO /CMM, ITIL, software testing certifications /knowledge, vendor & resource management, project management
- Knowledge of application development platforms client server, web /mobile applications, application interfacing, queue, messaging systems, RDBMS, NoSQL DB
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with ability to translate ideas into practical implementation
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships including team members, vendors and partners
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to present and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and resolution of issues
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive & manage enhancements & projects for the FI, CO, xECM, REFX, DMS, PS & PM modules effectively towards completion in time, meeting SLAs.
- Plan implementations with least calculated risks with mitigation /rollback /alternative plans.
- Manage resources (external & internal) and partners in accordance with project schedule. Use them judiciously & effectively, ensuring high productivity.
- Ensure that all proper documents related to projects are maintained in accepted formats as per known standards
- Responsible for assisting the HR team in implementing training programs for team and end users
- Suggest best practices /improvements to function and implements them with stakeholders buy-in
- Lead testing efforts and ensure effective testing of changes
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner during testing
- Conduct business process study with the help of business team. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
- Draft RFP and RFQs, evaluate partners & various solutions offerings from vendors.
- Plan effectively, set priorities, and manage several complex projects simultaneously while working to meet project deadlines.
- Manage resources in accordance with project schedule.
- Work with the Service Delivery Team and act as the point of escalation for L2 and above incident pertaining to SAP
- Assist the IT GRC team to conduct audit & assurance related activities.
