SAP EWM HANA Job Description
The SAP EWM HANA Consultant plays a pivotal role in optimizing and implementing warehouse management solutions for our organization. With robust expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and HANA databases, the individual will be responsible for streamlining operations, reducing inefficiencies, and enhancing productivity within our supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP EWM solutions according to business needs.
- Analyze data requirements and optimize data flow within HANA databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Configure EWM settings to streamline warehouse processes.
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide support and troubleshooting for EWM and HANA-related issues.
- Develop technical documentation for configurations and processes.
- Engage in data migration activities and ensure data integrity.
- Deliver training sessions on EWM functionalities to end-users.
- Monitor system performance and suggest continual improvements.
- Stay updated with SAP product improvements and industry trends.
- Assist in project planning, scope management, and resource allocation.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with the team.
- Support the change management process during project implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in SAP EWM implementations.
- Proven experience with SAP HANA database management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and supply chain operations.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex EWM issues.
- Familiarity with SAP MM and SD modules is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
