Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with over 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementations and support. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in end-to-end warehouse management processes and will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver solutions that optimize warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP EWM implementation projects from blueprinting through post-go-live support.
- Configure SAP EWM functionalities such as inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure, internal warehouse processes, physical inventory, and resource management.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, map them to SAP EWM functionality, and define efficient warehouse processes.
- Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and ERP systems for seamless warehouse operations.
- Provide end-user training, develop documentation, and support users in troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, provide solutions for complex warehouse challenges, and implement best practices.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of SAP EWM projects.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to educate users on EWM functionalities and new system enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of business processes within the warehouse management system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing system performance and refining warehouse processes.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in SAP EWM with expertise in configuration, customization, and end-to-end project management.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes and best practices, including inbound/outbound logistics, internal warehouse movements, storage, and inventory management.
- Solid understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and other relevant SAP modules.
- Experience in managing full lifecycle EWM projects including requirements gathering, blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions for complex warehouse scenarios.
- SAP certifications in EWM or related modules would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional project teams.
