Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented SAP (Store Manager) to manage the inventory and store operations at the construction site of an oil and gas project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems and a solid understanding of material management, stock control, and procurement processes within a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site store, including inventory management, stock receipt, and issuance.
- Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment required for the project are adequately stored and available for site operations.
- Track and update stock levels in the ERP/SAP system and generate regular inventory reports.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring that material handling complies with company standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the procurement and project teams to ensure the timely supply of materials as per the project schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, including receipts, dispatches, and returns, and conduct periodic stock audits to verify physical inventory.
- Handle the reconciliation of stock discrepancies and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Ensure the optimal storage of materials to prevent damage or loss, and organize the layout of the store for efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures related to store operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/ BE/ BSc/ MCA/BBA .
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with ERP/SAP systems, preferably in a construction or oil and gas environment.
- Strong knowledge of material management, stock control, and inventory practices.
- Ability to effectively use ERP/SAP software for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
