We are seeking a seasoned SAP EHS(Environment Health Safety Management) Functional Consultant. As an SAP EHS Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP EHS module to meet the environment, health, and safety compliance needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, understanding regulatory requirements, and implementing SAP solutions to ensure compliance and sustainable business practices
Roles And Responsibilities
- Industry Best Practices and strong capability to conceptualize business solutions covering EHS processes.
- The Functional is responsible for performing fit/gap analysis for integrating new plants into existing ECC EHS Solution, writing detailed functional designs to fill gaps, communicate with developers on solution build, create and execute test scripts, defect support and cutover activities.
- Should collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze their requirements for enhancing the SAP EHS module
- Should conduct thorough testing of the configured SAP EHS module to ensure its functionality, integrity, and adherence to the defined requirements
- Should assist the top management in project planning, estimating efforts, and managing project timelines.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules or external systems to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.Develop and maintain procedures for handling and reporting safety incidents.
- Stay updated on relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Design and implement data structures for handling environmental, health, and safety data within SAP.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support the delivery of integrated SAP solutions for multiple ERP projects across BH businesses while working with Program Managers, functional owners, service providers and other members of SAP Dev ops team Owns complete SAP EHSM module solutions for various end-to-end business process, which includes prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, and documentation and post go-live support, including interfaces, cross module integration.
Must-Have Skills
- Should have at least 3-6 years of experience in the SAP functional area of product compliance.
- Must have good experience of Implementation support projects and should be an expert in designing configuration.
- Should have supporting experience on SAP EHS Processes in the areas like: Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Safety Data Sheet Label Management, SVT, Recipe Management, Implementation of SERC Package Expert Ruleset, and also have Good ABAP Technical Knowledge.
- Good Understanding on Integration of EHS with SD PP MM.
- Good knowledge on Global label management, WWI Template Handling and Report Shipping, Experience in Handling Dangerous goods management and Hazardous goods management issues.
- Good knowledge on data migration tools processes.
- Should have good knowledge on support activities and should have at least 1 full cycle implementations with good experience in SAP EHS GLM.
- Hands-on experience in Specifications Management, Phrase Management and Property Tree setup.
- Exposure on EHS Regulatory Content and Updating process, Creating/editing WWI templates with conditional output, blank compression, etc.
Good To Have Skills
- Certification in SAP EHS is preferred.
