Job Description: SAP BW Consultant (Development and Implementation)
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant with a strong background in project development and implementation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW development, configuration, and deployment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP BW solutions that meet our business needs and enhance our data analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize SAP BW solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SAP BW tools and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data analytics needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data modeling and design efficient data flows within SAP BW data warehouse environments.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP BW queries, reports, and data loads.
- Provide technical expertise and support during SAP BW project implementations, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other SAP modules.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer sessions on SAP BW functionality and best practices.
- Stay current with SAP BW trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our SAP BW solutions and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an SAP BW Consultant, with a focus on development and implementation.
- Proficiency in SAP BW 7.x or higher, including experience with SAP BW on HANA.
- Strong understanding of SAP BW data modeling, extraction, and reporting capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BW tools such as SAP BW Query Designer, InfoObjects, InfoProviders, and transformations.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex SAP BW solutions for large-scale projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP BW performance issues and optimize data loads.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- SAP certifications in BW/HANA are a plus.
- Experience in other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP CRM) and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration with SAP BW is desirable.
