Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, data quality, and data management using SAP BODS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various data sources to SAP HANA, SAP BW, and other databases.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources and targets.
- Create and manage data mappings, workflows, and scripts to support data integration projects.
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes and data models.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices.
- Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and other relational databases.
- Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of other SAP data management tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward).
- Certification in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
