SAP Business Cutover Lead – Contract Position

Contract Length:Initial contract with extension planned in September following the client's fiscal year.

Purpose of Job:

The SAP Business Cutover Lead will oversee the critical business cutover activities necessary for the successful implementation of the Project

Key Tasks:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Cutover Approach.
• Create a detailed, integrated Cutover Plan including Business activities.
• Design and implement a Business Contingency approach for Cutover.
• Regularly produce Status/Progress Reports.
• Conduct Business Readiness Checks during Cutover.
• Manage activities during Go-Live week to ensure Successful Cutover.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Central Cutover Lead to develop and implement the business cutover approach and plan.
• Engage with countries to implement the cutover plan, covering Ramp Down tasks, special handling during freeze periods, and Ramp Up tasks.
• Plan and manage business contingency activities for extended freeze periods.
• Build and implement the Market Engagement strategy to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and prepared.
• Facilitate communication with all relevant internal & external stakeholders.
• Coordinate Business Cutover Activities with Data Migration and Technical Cutover Teams, supporting the transition to Hypercare and ongoing support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP S4/HANA and cutover management.
• Minimum of 10 years of project/program management experience, preferably in technology or business transformation.
• Formal project management qualification is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to produce and manage detailed, complex plans.
• Experienced in managing multi-site international environments.
• Demonstrated senior stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to implement structure and order.
• Exceptional planning and coordination skills.
• Analytical mindset with a results-focused attitude.
• Ability to address performance issues and assess team capabilities continuously.
