Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy event-driven architectures on SAP BTP using Event Mesh.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Implement event-driven integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, applications, and services.
- Configure and customize Event Mesh components, including event producers, consumers, channels, and subscriptions.
- Develop custom event handlers, transformations, and business rules using SAP BTP tools and services.
- Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in event-driven architecture, SAP BTP, and Event Mesh development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP BTP development, with a focus on event-driven architecture and Event Mesh.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh, SAP Cloud Foundry, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or similar, for developing custom event handlers and business logic.
- Strong understanding of event-driven design principles, messaging patterns, and asynchronous communication.
- Experience with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant areas is desirable but not mandatory.
