Experienced in functional and technical aspect of SAP software components which includes SAP Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC) 10 and 10.1
Thorough understanding of data architecture from BW to BPC, relationship between entities and account structures. The BPC Consultant will use formal methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment. Responsibilities include using knowledge of leading practices within the month end close and consolidation process as well as proven experience applying and maintaining internal controls.
Experience on BPC Embedded architecture Knowledge of SAC Planning will be preferred Should have experience on designing & developing both Planning & Consolidation processes: Data input, currency conversion, entity consolidation and elimination, plan assessments, versioning, reporting.
Experience of working in a Devops team structure, can contribute different phases of various ongoing SAP BPC programmes, including design, development and production support, and contribute effectively. Willing to work in UK time zone shift if required Experience in Agile development practices preferred Summary Description for the Role: The role holder will be part of the SAP BI/BPC Devops team, and will be a key contributor to all team initiatives Key responsibilities are:
In addition to consolidations, the BPC Consultant should also be able to configure BPC to be used for planning functionality. He/She should be able to configure key planning utilities in SAP including Input Schedules, Allocations and Forecast Models. Candidate should be able to advice clients on solution architecture. Candidate should have prior hands on experience around account.
Understanding of the Finance functional area
Use of formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment is required.
Must have Business Unit Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
Support testing
CIT/E2E/UAT
Analyze code and review designs
Experience on cloud platforms a plus
Work with geographically diverse development teams
Stakeholder management
Conduct Show & Tells with business users, propose solutions which provide business value to users.
